Miguel Rodriguez, General Counsel

Miguel Rodriguez became American Pharmacies General Counsel on July 1, 2018, after working several years as a commercial litigation attorney representing clients in health care, fiduciary, intellectual property and bankruptcy issues. A graduate of the University of Texas and the UT School of Law, he was recognized by Texas Monthly as a Texas Rising Star, an honor bestowed on less than 2.5% of lawyers in Texas, and was again recognized by the magazine in 2016 and 2017 as a Texas Super Lawyer.

Rodriguez is left his role as partner at the Austin law firm of Taylor, Dunham and Rodriguez in Austin to join American Pharmacies. He served as lead attorney for American Pharmacies in the landmark class-action lawsuit filed in 2011 by six Board members against CVS Caremark and has been deeply involved in the development of legislation for both TPBC and NMPBC.
