Workers' Comp
eBilling Delayed Waiver deadline Oct.
31! |
Happy Halloween!
The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of
Workers' Compensation has extended the deadline for
implementing the eBill Project from Oct. 31, 2007 to
Jan. 1, 2008.
But don't delay applying for a waiver from
electronic filing. Waivers must be received by
Wednesday, Oct. 31!!
You may be eligible for a waiver if:
- You employ 10 or fewer fulltime staff and
workers' comp claims represent less than 10 percent of
your practice.
- Filing electronically would be an unreasonable
financial burden.
All waiver requests MUST BE IN
WRITING. Submit your request and required
information to bill.wells@tdi.state.tx.us or by fax
to Bill Wells at 512.804.5001.
Stay
tuned! | |
